Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions, we've got answers. If you don't see what you're looking for, email us, call, or reach us on WhatsApp — someone who knows the hardware will answer.

Ordering

How do I place an order?

Browse the catalog, add items to your cart, and complete checkout. We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and direct bank transfer.

If you're not certain which product suits your application, email techsupport@clarkeadvantage.com before ordering. Getting the specification right first is far easier than processing a return afterwards.

Can I order by phone or WhatsApp?

Yes. Call 321-502-2205 or message us on WhatsApp 24/7 and we'll help you place your order directly.

Do you offer dealer or wholesale pricing?

Yes. We run an installer and dealer program with account pricing for qualified security professionals and contractors. Visit our Installer & B2B Program page to apply.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

No. There's no minimum order for retail or dealer customers.

Can I cancel an order after placing it?

Contact us as soon as possible. Orders are released to our supplier shortly after they're placed, so cancellation often isn't possible once that's happened.

Made-to-order and custom-configured items can't be cancelled once placed with the manufacturer. Once an order has shipped, our Returns & Refunds Policy applies instead.

Shipping & Delivery

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is calculated at checkout from two things: how many items you order in total, and where you are. It isn't based on weight.

Quantity is banded — 1 item, 2–3, 4–6, 7–9, and 10 or more. The band covers your whole order, not each product, so three different items ordered together is a single 2–3 charge rather than three separate charges. Orders of 10 or more are a single flat rate for your area, however many units you buy beyond that.

Shipping starts at $36.50 for one item within Florida and rises with quantity and distance. A flat $6.50 order handling charge is included in the shipping total on every order. You'll see the exact figure at checkout before you pay, and Florida sales tax applies to the shipping charge.

Product prices on this site are complete. There's no additional per-item handling charge added at checkout.

How long does shipping take?

Our dispatch run takes place each business day between 12:00 and 1:00 PM ET, Monday to Friday. Orders received after 12:00 noon ET, at weekends, or on federal holidays are processed on the next business day.

Once dispatched, transit is typically 3 to 7 business days by FedEx or UPS, depending on your destination.

The dispatch window describes how we normally work — it isn't a guarantee that a particular order will leave on a particular day. If we can't dispatch within the usual timeframe we'll contact you with a revised date and the option to cancel for a full refund.

Will I get a tracking number?

Yes, automatically. Your tracking number is emailed to you at the point of dispatch — you don't need to request it. You can also check status any time through Track Your Order, or email orders@clarkeadvantage.com.

Where do you ship?

We ship to street addresses across most of the United States. We don't ship to:

  • Alaska, Hawaii, Nebraska, or Puerto Rico
  • International destinations
  • P.O. Boxes
  • APO, FPO, and DPO addresses

Serviceable destinations are confirmed at checkout.

What if an item is out of stock?

Some items are made to order or temporarily unavailable and carry a lead time of approximately four to six weeks.

We always confirm the expected lead time with you before your order is processed — you'll never be charged and left waiting without knowing the timeline. If we can't ship by the date we gave you, we'll contact you with a revised date and the option to cancel for a full refund, with no fee of any kind.

Will my order arrive in one delivery?

Normally, yes. Orders usually ship complete in a single delivery, including where the order contains a lead-time item — the whole order ships together once it's ready.

Where an order does ship in more than one part, we'll tell you, and the inspection window described below runs separately from each delivery.

What happens if my package is lost in transit?

Contact orders@clarkeadvantage.com and we'll open an investigation with the carrier and work it through with you.

Shipments aren't insured by default. If your order is high in value, or the delivery point is unattended, ask us about adding insurance before you pay — we can arrange it prior to dispatch and add the cost to your order.

Do you deliver to job sites?

Yes, but make sure someone is there to receive and inspect the delivery. Larger orders may ship on a pallet by freight carrier, and freight deliveries are typically kerbside — they don't include inside delivery, unpacking, or removal of packaging.

Where an order requires freight, we'll confirm the arrangement and any delivery requirements with you before dispatch.

Returns & Refunds

What is your return policy?

There are two different situations with two different deadlines.

What happened Deadline Outcome
Arrived damaged, incorrect, or with parts missing 5 business days Free replacement. No fee, and we cover return shipping.
Correct and unused, but you've changed your mind 7 days Refund less a 20% restocking fee and payment processing costs. You pay return shipping.
Worked, then developed a fault No time limit Warranty claim

Either way, email returns@clarkeadvantage.com first and wait for a Return Authorization (RA) number. Items sent back without an RA can't be matched to your order and won't be processed. Full detail is in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Why is there a deduction on a change-of-mind refund?

Two deductions apply, and we'll confirm the exact figure in writing before you send anything back.

The 20% restocking fee. We hold no inventory. A returned item goes back through the supply chain, and the supplier's restocking charge, our order handling, and the payment processing costs are all incurred before the item comes back. The fee covers them rather than adding margin.

Payment processing costs. When a payment is refunded, the card networks and payment providers don't return the processing fee to us, and we have no way to recover it. Card refunds are reduced by 2.9% of the order value plus $0.30. PayPal refunds are reduced by the cost PayPal retains on that transaction.

Payments made by direct bank transfer carry no processing cost and are refunded less the restocking fee only. On larger orders that's worth considering at the time of purchase.

What if my item arrives damaged, missing, or is the wrong product?

Inspect your delivery and email returns@clarkeadvantage.com within 5 business days if anything is damaged, missing, or incorrect. Include photographs of the product and the outer packaging, and keep all original packaging until the matter is resolved.

We'll arrange a free replacement. There's no restocking fee, no processing deduction, and we cover return shipping. Where a replacement isn't available — if the product has been discontinued, for example — we'll refund you in full instead.

Five business days gives you time to get the box open, including where an installer is doing it, while the packaging and evidence are still intact. Reports after that are considered case by case.

What can't be returned?
  • Items that have been installed, wired, programmed, powered up, or used
  • Items missing components, accessories, or original packaging
  • Special-order, made-to-order, and custom-configured items
  • Requests made outside the 5-business-day or 7-day windows

Much of this hardware is configured on first power-up and can't be restored to resalable condition afterwards. If you're unsure whether a product is right for your application, call us before you install or program it.

How long is my Return Authorization valid?

Thirty days from the date it's issued. Ship the item within that period — after it expires you'll need to request a new RA, which may fall outside the return window.

Returned items are inspected on arrival, and we confirm the outcome to you within 3 business days of that inspection being completed.

Warranty

What warranty do products carry?

Every product we sell is covered by the manufacturer's standard warranty. Terms, coverage periods, and remedies vary by product — the documentation supplied with your product governs.

Clarke Advantage LLC is an authorized dealer, not the manufacturer, so we don't issue a warranty of our own. Claims are administered and decided by the manufacturer.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Start with us. Email techsupport@clarkeadvantage.com with your order number, the model and serial number, and a description of the fault, with photographs or video where relevant.

We'll help you work out whether it's a genuine warranty fault or a configuration, power, or network issue, confirm your warranty status, and get the claim moving with the right contact. A meaningful number of issues are resolved at this stage without a claim being needed at all.

Don't ship anything back without a Return Authorization or a manufacturer RMA number. Items sent without one can't be matched to a claim.

See our full Warranty Policy.

Does the warranty cover installer labor?

No. A manufacturer warranty covers the hardware itself. It doesn't cover the cost of diagnosing, removing, re-installing, re-commissioning, or re-programming a product, and neither do we.

Installer labor, call-out charges, site visits, access equipment, cabling, and making good are the customer's responsibility. We're also not liable for gate or door downtime while a product is being assessed or replaced.

Do you offer advance replacements or loan units?

No. A replacement is issued once the manufacturer has determined the outcome of the claim. We don't supply loan units or temporary equipment while a claim is assessed.

Products & Technical Support

Are you an authorized dealer?

Yes. Clarke Advantage LLC is an authorized dealer. All products are genuine and sourced directly from the manufacturer.

Do you offer installation?

No. We supply hardware only. We provide technical guidance and product selection support, but we don't perform installation, and we don't design, certify, inspect, or commission installed systems.

Gate operators, vehicle detection, intercoms, and access control hardware should be installed and commissioned by a qualified — and where required, licensed — installer. Improper installation can void the manufacturer warranty and create a safety hazard. If you need help finding an installer in your area, ask us.

Can you help me choose the right product?

Yes, and we'd rather do that than process a return. Our team has hands-on technical experience with the systems we sell. Reach us at techsupport@clarkeadvantage.com, by phone, or on WhatsApp.

Any guidance we give is informational. Confirming the final specification for your site conditions, gate configuration, network environment, cellular coverage, power supply, and local codes remains your responsibility and your installer's.

Do you sell replacement parts?

Yes. We carry a range of parts and accessories. Search by SKU, or email techsupport@clarkeadvantage.com if you need help identifying a specific part.

Do these products need internet or cellular service?

Many do. Products may depend on mains power, network connectivity, internet service, cellular coverage, SIM and data plans, apps, and manufacturer cloud services — none of which we supply or control.

Where a product requires activation, a SIM, a data plan, or a subscription, those services are governed by that provider's own terms and pricing. Check coverage at your site before ordering, and ask us if you're unsure.

Installer & Dealer Program

How do I apply for dealer pricing?

Visit our Installer & B2B Program page and complete the application. You'll need to upload a valid Florida Annual Resale Certificate (Form DR-13) or your state's equivalent. We review applications within 1–2 business days.

Why do you need my resale certificate?

Florida law requires a valid resale certificate on file before we can sell to you tax-exempt. Certificates expire every December 31, so we re-verify each account annually.

Exemption applies only to products bought for resale. Items for your own business use remain taxable.

What are the benefits of the dealer program?

Account pricing, dedicated support, and access to technical resources to help you serve your customers better.

We don't currently offer net payment terms or invoicing — orders are paid by card, PayPal, or bank transfer at the time of order.

Do dealers have different return terms?

Approved dealers are additionally subject to the Clarke Advantage Dealer Sales Agreement. Dealers are responsible for passing these terms on to their own customers before sale — particularly the 5-business-day inspection requirement, since the person receiving the delivery on site is often not the person who placed the order.

Still have questions?

If it isn't answered here, ask us. Most questions about specification, compatibility, or delivery are quicker to resolve on a call than by email.
